Questions

How do I convert currency from my iPhone Home Screen?

Add the Convert Fast widget. Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget (on iOS 17, tap +). Search for Convert Fast, pick the medium or large size and add it. Then type an amount on the widget's keypad: every currency on your list updates without opening the app.

Can I convert without opening the app?

Yes. The widget has its own keypad: type an amount on your Home Screen and every currency on the widget updates. Tap a currency on the widget to convert from it instead.

Can I convert into several currencies at once?

Yes. You type one amount and see it in every currency on your list, side by side. Tap any currency to make it the base.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Rates are saved on your iPhone, so conversions keep working offline, and every screen shows when the rates were last updated. The app comes with rates built in, so it works even before it first connects.

Do I need an account? Does the app track me?

No account and no sign-up. The app shows no ads and doesn't track you. It sends anonymous usage and crash statistics so problems can be found and fixed.

Which iPhones does it run on?

Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

Where do the exchange rates come from?

From an open, public exchange-rate dataset that is updated every day. Rates are for reference: your bank or card may charge a different rate.
