Add it

Put the converter on your Home Screen and convert without opening the app.

1. Touch and hold an empty spot until the icons jiggle.
2. Tap Edit, then Add Widget. On iOS 17, tap + in the top-left corner.
3. Search for Convert Fast and tap it.
4. Swipe to Medium or Large, then tap Add Widget.
5. Tap Done, and type on it right away.

Type on it

Type on the widget's keypad and every currency converts, without opening the app.

Switch base

Tap a currency on the widget and it becomes the base, as it does in the app.

Two sizes

Medium fits three currencies beside its keypad. Large fits six, over a full keypad.

Type once

Type an amount and every currency on your list converts as you go.

1. Tap the keypad.
2. Each digit converts every row as you type.
3. Read your amount in every currency at once.

Switch base

The row you tap becomes the base. The amount carries over, and the keypad now types in that currency.

1. Tap any currency.
2. It becomes the base, and the amount carries over.
3. Tap another one to switch again.
4. The keypad now types in that currency.

Add currency

Tap Add, search by code, name or country, and tap the one you want.

1. Tap ADD.
2. Search by code, name or country.
3. Tap the currency you want.
4. It's added to the top of your list.

Reorder

Tap Reorder, drag a row by its handle, then tap Done.

1. Tap REORDER.
2. Hold a row by its handle.
3. Drag it where you want it.
4. Tap DONE.

Remove

Swipe a row to the left and tap Delete. The list always keeps at least two currencies.

1. Swipe a currency to the left.
2. Tap Delete.
3. The list closes up. At least two currencies always stay.

Fresh rates

Rates update once a day on their own. Pull the list down to fetch them now. The stamp next to the title shows when they were fetched.

1. Pull the list down.
2. Let go, and the rates load.

Free plan

Top two free

On the free plan the first two rows convert and the rest stay blurred. Drag the currency you need into the top two.

1. On the free plan, rows after the second are blurred.
2. Tap REORDER.
3. Drag the currency you need into the top two.
4. Tap DONE. It converts, and the row it passed is blurred now.

Restore a purchase

New iPhone, or reinstalled the app? Founder Plus comes back for free with the same Apple ID.

1. Tap the gear at the top right.
2. Under Founder Plus, tap Restore purchases.
3. Everything Founder Plus includes unlocks again.

Family Sharing

With Family Sharing on, everyone in your family group gets Founder Plus too.

1. Turn on Purchase Sharing in your family group.
2. Each member taps Restore purchases in Settings.
